Pop Starz Records Signs Singing Sensation, Morgan Hayes, as their First Songwriter and Recording Artist
Pop Starz Inc.’s (Pink Sheets: PSRZ) new record label and publisher Pop Starz Records announces the signing of 16-year old singer-songwriter sensation Morgan Hayes as their first songwriter and recording artist. Morgan, already a veteran performer and winner of Radio Disney’s 2004 national “Sing like a Star” competition, just returned from Nashville writing and recording new material with veteran writer and producer Gene
Evaro whose credits include Champagne, Sly Stone, Chakakahn, Ha*Ash, and many others. Evaro has assembled an all star team to work on the live production of Morgan’s songs including engineer Bob Bullock, whose credits include the Tubes, Reba McIntyre and Shania Twain; assistant engineer Todd Tidwell, whose credits include Reba McIntyre and Rascal Flatts; drummer Lonnie Wilson, whose credits include Carrie Underwood, Faith Hill and Leann Rimes; bass guitar Alison Prestwood, whose credits include Jessica Simpson and Sheryl Crow; electric guitar J.T. Cornenflos, whose credits include Bob Seger and Tim McGraw; acoustic guitar Bif Watson, whose credits include Jewel, Peter Cetera and Keith Urban. The songs were recorded at starstruck.net with the tracking and mixing done at masterfonics.com.

Evaro states: “I was introduced to Morgan by Marlene Cassidy, Esq. president of Pop Starz Records and I was completely knocked out. Man, I know this is a superstar in the rough! Morgan’s uncanny ability to deliver a song soulfully and vocally at such a young age is unbelievable. Today in music a lot of records you hear are done with a lot of technology, pro tools, sequencing programs, and auto tune, but with Morgan’s incredible talent, we’re using live musicians from start to finish and little technology to create a sound that will match and propel Morgan’s talent into the stratosphere.”

Marlene Cassidy, Esq., President of Pop Starz Records agrees that Morgan’s talent rivals a young Christina Aguilera. Ms. Cassidy remarks that “it is not just Morgan’s talent that attracts us; it’s her attitude, commitment to work hard and self-confidence that make us certain that she will become a national sensation with the release of her first CD.”
